France records 104,000 cases of corona in a record daily

On Saturday, France crossed the threshold of one hundred thousand cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, in a record number for the country, whose government is conducting a reassessment of the epidemiological situation on Monday.

France recorded 104,611 new infections in the past 24 hours, an unprecedented toll in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic on its soil in March 2020, according to figures published on Saturday by the French Public Health Directorate.

On the fourth of December, the country crossed the threshold of 50,000 cases of Covid-19, so that the outcome doubled within three weeks, according to the data of the Health Authority.
