Crime reporter about the fires: "A receipt that the police are doing the right thing"

Lasse Wierup has for many years examined gang crime in Sweden.

He sees the fires in Eskilstuna, which is suspected of being an act of revenge after a criminal leader was arrested, as an attempt at a show of strength from criminal groups.

- This touches a little on the terror prop.

To instill fear in the population, he says.

He continues:

- You want to show that you do not step on this network with impunity.

But at the same time, he states that the fires are also a sign that the police are really succeeding in accessing the gangs.
