Rostock (dpa / mv) - 304 new corona infections were reported in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on Thursday.

At the same time, ten more deaths in connection with a corona infection were registered on Thursday.

The total number of corona deaths since the pandemic began a good year ago is now 995.

The value decreased by 7.5 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants to 123.7.

In addition to the district of Vorpommern-Rügen, where the value was 90.8, the Hanseatic City of Rostock and the district of Rostock also again recorded values ​​below the important threshold of 100 (93.2 and 93.6, respectively).

The value was highest in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district at 210.1, which is partly due to a local outbreak in a company in Lübenheen.

The second highest was in Western Pomerania-Greifswald (137.1), followed by the state capital Schwerin (127.5), the district of Mecklenburg Lake District (127.1) and Northwest Mecklenburg (108.7).
