Tangstedt (dpa / lno) - A man crashed his car into a tree in Tangstedt (Stromarn district) and was killed.
According to the police, a 54-year-old woman probably ignored the right of way at an intersection with her car on Friday evening and collided with the 44-year-old's car.
As a result of the impact, the driver and his vehicle went off the road and hit a tree.
He was trapped in his car and died on the spot, the police said.
The 54-year-old and her 16-year-old passenger were slightly injured.
A dog that was being carried was thrown out of the car and died.
