A little respite for the Blues: after a cascade of bad news the previous days, no new case of Covid was announced Tuesday within the XV of France, which joins the third line of Toulouse Selevasio Tolofua.

The French Rugby Federation (FFR) said in a very concise press release, distributed at daybreak, that "following the RT-PCR tests carried out yesterday (Monday) evening, all the players and the staff were tested negative for Covid-19 ".

Subject to the results of the next battery of tests, now carried out daily, the Blues could resume collective training on Wednesday, four days before their third match of the Six Nations Tournament, Sunday at the Stade de France against Scotland.

They carried out on Tuesday, at the National Rugby Center in Marcoussis, physiological work, without contact and in small groups, before a collective meeting in the open air.

Called in on Monday as reinforcement following five new contaminations in the French ranks, the Palois Baptiste Pesenti, himself tested positive for Covid, did not finally join Marcoussis.

The FFR must formalize on Wednesday the name of the player called to replace him in the group to prepare for the reception of Scotland: the third row of Toulouse Selevasio Tolofua, who had his only selection to date in the final of the Coupe d ' autumn of nations, narrowly lost in December against England.
