It was at the beginning of the pandemic that Tom Moore decided to raise money for British healthcare.
He then promised to go 100 laps with his cane if he could get in 1,000 pounds.
In the end, he received over 32 million pounds.
He was also knighted by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II.
Moore's family states that in recent weeks he contracted pneumonia, and last week he also tested positive for the coronavirus.
He turned 100 years old.
