The police received a call about the threatening man at 9.30 pm.
The man had then been seen in Kungsmarken in Karlskorna.
- He must have behaved threateningly and been perceived as affected, says Evelina Olsson.
Abused with the machete
When police arrived at the scene, a man was also found who had been beaten by the threatening machete man.
The battered person should not have needed hospital care after the incident.
Later in the evening, the police were able to arrest the suspect. The case is classified as attempted aggravated assault and aggravated unlawful threat.
