The young man arrested for the homicide that occurred early Saturday morning in the capital of Burgos was carrying, at the time of his arrest, early this Sunday, posters of ultra groups of the
Burgos Fútbol Club
, according to sources from the investigation.
The
National Police
is now investigating whether both could know each other from a previous situation.
Early this Sunday, the National Police arrested a young man from Burgos, 23 years old, as the alleged perpetrator of the death of a 32-year-old man from Valladolid, who in the early hours of Saturday was celebrating a bachelor party in the
Plaza de la Flora
from Burgos capital, and whose possible trigger could be precisely that the victim was from Valladolid.
Although yesterday, when the death of the young man from Valladolid was known, everything indicated that it had not been violent and that it could have been due to a fatal accidental fall, later the forensic analysis and the efforts carried out by the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade of the National Police established the possibility that third parties had intervened.
The

in the Community has explained in a statement that after identifying several of the young people who were in the area at the time of death, the Police were able to determine that the victim had suffered an unexpected attack with a very strong punch that caused his death practically instantaneously.
And, once the intentional nature of the death was established, early on Sunday the National Police identified and arrested a 23-year-old young man, a resident of Burgos, as the perpetrator of the attack.
"At this moment the motivation for the attack is being investigated, although it seems that the victim's status as a resident of Valladolid could have been the trigger," according to the same sources.
