China News Service, April 23, South Korean media reported that South Korea's Central Epidemic Prevention Headquarters reported on the 23rd that as of 0:00 that day, South Korea had 8 new cases of new coronary pneumonia diagnosed from 0:00 of the previous day, including 4 imported cases. So far, 10702 cases have been diagnosed in Korea.

South Korea's Central Disaster Security Measures Headquarters announced on the 22nd the draft guidelines for epidemic prevention under the "Life Epidemic Prevention System", in which daily life and epidemic prevention work are in parallel.

According to the draft, there are five basic codes, including the community working together, the community designating the person in charge of internal epidemic prevention, developing and complying with the community's epidemic prevention guidelines, checking whether members have fever, and actively cooperating with the person in charge of epidemic prevention.

The "community" to which the epidemic prevention guidelines are applied includes crowded facilities such as various enterprises and institutions, sports facilities, theaters, and regular gatherings of fan groups.

The Central Department of Disaster Security Measures also stated that the guidelines for life epidemic prevention are recommendations and are not legally binding. However, the South Korean government believes that several core codes need to be enforced, so it plans to revise the "Law on the Prevention and Management of Infectious Diseases" to reward citizens for strictly following the guidelines on life and epidemic prevention and sanctioning violations.
