Today, Tuesday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced that it had registered 157 new cases of the new Corona virus (Covid 19) and 14 other deaths.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the ministry said, "There were 157 new cases that proved positive laboratory analyzes of the virus, all of them Egyptians, as part of the ministry's surveillance and investigation procedures, according to WHO guidelines, pointing to the death of 14 cases." According to the ministry’s Facebook page.
He added that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, is 3,390 cases, including 870 cases that have been cured and discharged from isolation hospitals, and 264 deaths. "
He continued that the number of cases whose laboratory results have turned from positive to negative to Corona virus (Covid-19) rose to 1,181 cases, including the 870 recovered.
