The largest demonstration to date took place on Wednesday in the capital, Michigan, Lansing, where some 3,000 people demonstrated against the confinement of Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Other protests were scheduled for Saturday, including Austin, Texas, or Annapolis, Maryland.
