“A request was sent to Google’s management with a request to explain the reasons for the removal of the Russian president Vladimir Putin’s appeal to citizens in connection with the coronavirus pandemic from the NTV television channel,” the agency’s press service quoted TASS as saying.
The request of Roskomnadzor indicates that this action violates the provision of the Russian Constitution on the prohibition of censorship.
