US President Donald Trump declared a state of emergency yesterday (13th) local time regarding the spread of coronavirus infection-19 (corona19).

President Trump said today that he will hold a press conference at the White House to give the state government access to $ 50 billion in funding.

At the beginning of Corona 19, President Trump showed that the US risk was low and that it was not a problem.

However, the United States also seems to have decided to declare an emergency as the number of infected people increases and fears of widespread spread.

The emergency declaration was made in accordance with the Stafford Act, which passed in 1988, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) can use the $ 40 billion disaster fund to provide state government with funding for inspections, medical facilities, and more.

President Trump signed an emergency budget of $ 8.3 billion approved by Congress to respond to Corona19 on the 6th, but politics has steadily demanded that an emergency be declared to secure additional funding.

In the meantime, several emergencies have been declared due to health threats.

However, it was reported that the disease was extremely rare, such as the case of former President Bill Clinton in response to the 'West Nile Virus' that was transmitted through mosquitoes in New Jersey and New York in 2000.
