Frenchman Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) leads Rally Mexico, 3rd round of the WRC world championship, 9 sec 7/10 ahead of his first pursuer, Finn Teemu Suninen (M-Sport Ford) at mid - day Friday.

After six stages run since Thursday evening, Belgian Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) completes the provisional podium at 10 sec 3/10 from Ogier.

The defending champion, Estonian Ott Tänak (Hyundai), victim of mechanical problems, is 7th at 38 sec 6/10 and the current leader of the driver classification, the British Elfyn Evans (Toyota), 5th at 19 sec 1/10.

The rally continues on Friday afternoon with a second passage on three of the specials in the morning program, before two passages on the Leon racing circuit (central Mexico) then a short special in the streets of the city that hosts the test.

We also learned on Friday the postponement to a later date of the next round of the WRC, initially scheduled for April 23 to 26 in Argentina, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
