US President Donald Trump declared a state of emergency on the 13th (local time) regarding the spread of coronavirus infection-19 (corona19).

President Trump said today that he will hold a press conference at the White House to give the state government access to $ 50 billion in funding.

At the beginning of Corona19, President Trump showed that the US risk was low and that it was not a problem.

However, the United States also seems to have decided to declare an emergency as the number of infected people increases and fears of massive spread increase.

The emergency declaration was made in accordance with the Stafford Act, which passed in 1988, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) can use the disaster fund of over $ 40 billion to provide state government with funding for inspections and medical facilities.

President Trump signed an emergency budget of $ 8.3 billion approved by Congress to respond to Corona 19 on the 6th, but the demand for a declaration of emergency to secure additional funding has been raised by the political community.

In the meantime, there have been several cases of emergency declared due to health threats.

However, it was reported that the disease was extremely rare, such as the case in which former President Bill Clinton responded to the 'West Nile Virus' that was transmitted through mosquitoes in New Jersey and New York in 2000.
