Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has tested positive for coronavirus and placed in isolation, the British Championship club said in a statement Thursday evening, saying it was "unable" to play some matches.
"Arsenal workers who have recently been in close contact with Mikel will have to isolate themselves in accordance with government health guidelines," the club said. "It is clear that we will not be able to play certain matches in their current lineup," added Arsenal, who is expected to travel to Brighton on Saturday as part of the 30th day of the Premier League.
