State Duma deputy Ayrat Khayrullin died as a result of a hard landing of a private Bell 407 helicopter in the Laishevsky district of Tatarstan. The accident occurred 6 km from the shore of the Kuibyshev reservoir and 30 km from Kazan.

On board, in addition to the deputy, there were two more people, they survived, doctors assess their condition as serious.

“Two injured as a result of a helicopter crash were delivered to medical institutions: the trauma center of the Republican Clinical Hospital of Tatarstan (Kazan) and Laishevskaya Central District Hospital. Both are in serious condition, ”a representative of the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan told RIA Novosti.

Later, the press service of the department reported that the condition of the victim, who was taken to Kazan, was stabilized.

Among the survivors is a helicopter pilot, investigators plan to interrogate him as soon as he regains consciousness.

The Federal Air Transport Agency reported that, according to the preliminary version, bad weather conditions could have caused the helicopter crash. The Office formed a commission to clarify the circumstances and causes of the incident.

Meanwhile, the Volga Investigation Department for Transport of the RF IC also does not exclude that piloting error or technical malfunction could also lead to the tragedy. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article "Violation of traffic safety rules and the operation of air transport, resulting in the death of a person through negligence."

At the same time, the Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office, after the incident, began checking the implementation of safety legislation.

Information about the death of Khayrullin was confirmed by the head of the Duma faction "United Russia" Sergei Neverov.

“Unfortunately, the information that Ayrat Khayrullin died was confirmed. I do not want to believe it. It’s hard to find the words. For all of us, this is a huge irreparable loss, ”he wrote on his Facebook page.

Neverov expressed his condolences to the relatives, friends and relatives of Ayrat Khayrullin.

The head of the Duma committee on agricultural issues, Vladimir Kashin, also announced the death of the deputy.

“I contacted my comrades and the ministry - they confirm that Khayrullin was dead,” Kashin said.

Ayrat Khayrullin, working in the State Duma Agrarian Committee, was a co-author of many laws aimed at the development of agriculture. About this in a conversation with RT said a member of the State Duma committee on agricultural issues Oleg Lebedev.

“Despite the fact that we were in different parties, we did one thing together ... It’s very difficult to say, a very tragic situation. In our work in the agrarian committee, we tried as much as possible to work on the development of rural territories, first of all, so that people of work did not want to leave, but worked where they like to live, ”said Lebedev.

He also noted that the committee held many different hearings and round tables to which the whole country came.

“As a result, our committee, including Ayrat and I, were the co-authors of many laws, all of which are aimed at ensuring that agriculture in Russia develops,” he said.

He added that since 2003 Khairullin has represented the interests of voters in the Republic of Tatarstan in the State Duma, and for more than 10 years he headed the National Union of Milk Producers.

Ayrat Khayrullin was born on August 1, 1970 in Kazan, graduated from the Economics Department of Kazan Agricultural Institute, after which he was engaged in business for several years. In 1995, he entered politics, was a deputy of the Kazan city council of people's deputies, and later - a deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 2003, Khairullin was elected to the State Duma. He was deputy chairman of the committee on agricultural issues. Khayrullin left a spouse and three children.
