Hundreds of Malaysians demonstrated in front of the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur, protesting the US peace plan in the Middle East, and in response to calls from civil society organizations in Southeast Asia.

The institutions called on the people and governments of Southeast Asia to announce their rejection of the American plan.

The demonstration coincided with the address of major mosque preachers in Malaysia, the Palestinian issue, a major theme of Friday sermon.

Hundreds of Malaysian youth - with their various affiliations - moved towards the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur, bringing them a common goal: to champion the Palestinian cause and address what they see as plans to liquidate it.

Jordan and Sudan
In a related context, demonstrators in Jordan expressed their rejection of the American peace plan, in a protest stand in front of the United States embassy in Amman.

Protesters criticized Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Sudanese Sovereignty Council for what they called normalizing positions with the Israeli occupation.

On the other hand, a demonstration took place in Sudan after Friday prayers in the suburb of Jabra in the capital, Khartoum, to condemn the meeting of the President of the Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu in Uganda last Monday.

Participants in the demonstrations held banners rejecting the American peace plan, and chanted slogans against the proof and the transitional government.

The stream of what is known as the state of law and the support of Sharia in Sudan, called on worshipers to go out in demonstrations in a number of mosques in the capital Khartoum, in opposition to any normalization step with Israel.
