Yemeni cities have witnessed major demonstrations since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip (Anatolia)

Today, Friday, several Arab capitals witnessed demonstrations in solidarity with the Gaza Strip and in rejection of the Israeli aggression on the Strip.

Yemen

In Sanaa, thousands gathered in Al-Sabaeen Square, demanding an end to the aggression against the Gaza Strip and calling for support for the steadfastness of the Palestinians.

Participants in a demonstration that took place after Friday prayers chanted slogans in solidarity with the people of Gaza, and demanded an end to the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and an end to the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces.

In Saada Governorate, northern Yemen, a march took place in which participants declared their continued commitment to supporting Gaza and liberating Palestine.

The demonstrators chanted slogans confirming their readiness to fight what they called “the holy battle in support of Al-Aqsa and Palestine,” praising the military operations of the Ansar Allah group “Houthis” against Israeli shipping in the Arab and Red Seas. They denounced what they described as the American-British aggression against Yemen, and the position of a number of Western countries to freeze funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

Demonstrators in the Yemeni city of Taiz denounced the continued massacres of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.

Yemenis also participated in a protest in Freedom Square in Taiz, demanding the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and holding the Israeli occupation leaders accountable for their crimes against the Palestinians, as they put it.

Iraq

The Iraqi capital, Baghdad, witnessed a demonstration in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and to denounce the Israeli aggression against the Strip.

The participants in the demonstration demanded the need to stop the Israeli aggression and continuous bombing of Gaza.

The demonstrators also called for breaking the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, urgently delivering support and humanitarian aid, and protecting civilians. The demonstrators also chanted in support of the Palestinian resistance and Palestinian steadfastness.

Jordan

In Jordan, demonstrators marched in the center of the capital, Amman, affirmed their rejection of ending the work of UNRWA.

Popular and party activities called for the demonstration, and it came under the title, “Undermining UNRWA will not pass, no to starvation, no to displacement, and yes to the right of return.”

The demonstrators also saluted the steadfastness of the people of the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian resistance. They also called on Arab and Islamic countries to support the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland.

The participants chanted: Palestine, Palestine.. Your people are free and not weak, and Arab is Arab.. Palestine is Arab, and revenge is revenge.. O Saraya and O Qassam, and we are the people of the mighty.. We die and Palestine lives, and others.
