According to TASS, Lavrov made a corresponding statement at a meeting with representatives of the Venezuelan “round table of national reconciliation”.
“Russia is ready to fully support your work. I am convinced that if our efforts are claimed in one form or another, the matter will not be for us, ”he said.
Earlier it was reported that Lavrov arrived in Caracas to meet with his Venezuelan counterpart Jorge Arreasa, as well as with the leader of the Bolivarian Republic, Nicolas Maduro.
