He called on the world community for unity and perseverance to clarify all the circumstances of the crash and thanked the USA, Canada, Great Britain, as well as Ukrainian experts for their support, high professionalism and efficiency in investigating the incident.
“We worked systematically and without tantrums for the sake of one thing - clarifying the truth regarding the circumstances of the crash,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.
He also said that the Ukrainian government will provide financial assistance to the families of the victims and will assist in obtaining compensation from Iran, the carrier and insurance companies.
“We also agreed (with Rukhani. - RT ) to begin joint work to decrypt two flight recorders -“ black boxes, ”Zelensky added.
Earlier, Rouhani expressed his condolences to Zelensky in connection with the plane crash in Iran and promised to bring to justice all those involved in the incident.
