It is noted that for all winners of state lotteries there is a rule that, if there is a good reason, the term is extended by another three years.

“Respectful - this is almost any reason, since we are aimed at paying the winnings,” RIA Novosti quoted the press service as saying.

It is specified that if, in the specified time period, the participant fails to appear for his winnings, the entire amount will be transferred to the state budget.

Earlier it became known that a winning lottery ticket for 1 billion rubles was bought in Yudin, Moscow Region, on Friday, December 13. At the same time, the winner has not yet contacted.

On January 1, it was reported that a resident of Moscow won 1 billion rubles in the Russian Lotto lottery. The Stoloto press service later clarified that the winner would receive a win amount minus personal income tax of 13%.
