Midfielder Paul Pogba (Manchester United) and his twin brothers organized a charity match in Tours on Sunday to promote access to clean water and education in Guinea.

"With my brothers, we organized this friendly meeting for my ancestors, my parents, for Guinea! I want to help my country of heart through the association" 48 hours for Guinea Conakry "of which we are all three presidents of 'honor', said the French player, accompanied by his older brothers Mathias, who played at Tours FC last season, and Florentin.

Some 10,000 people gathered at the Cher Valley stadium in Tours on Sunday afternoon for this gala match between former players of the Guinea team like Titi Camara, to a selection in which the Algerian international from Montpellier appeared Andy Delort or the French team footballer Hawa Cissoko.

Paul Pogba did not play but participated in the show from the sidelines.

"The association was created in order to collect funds for children affected by the problems of access to drinking water and education, through the creation of water pumps at the foot of schools," explained Yeo Moriba Pogba, mother of Paul Pogba.
