A man opened fire in a church in Texas at the time of communion, killing one person and seriously injuring another. The local press reports that specifying that the killer would be killed by a believer. The incident occurred shortly before noon at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, near Fort Worth, in Tarrant County.

"At 9.57 this morning we received a call for a shooting," reports White Settlement police, pointing out that the information is still preliminary. It is not clear whether the shots took place inside or outside the church. Investigators are interrogating witnesses to try to reconstruct exactly what happened.
