Olympique Lyonnais qualified Tuesday for the knockout stages of the Champions League after snatching the draw 2-2 against Leipzig at home on the sixth and final day of C1.
Lyon were led 2-0 on two penalties concluded by Forsberg (9th) and Werner (33rd), before returning to the score in the second half by Aouar (50th) and Depay (82nd). OL finish 2nd in this group G and accompany Leipzig (1st) in the 8th finals. Benfica takes the 3rd place after his victory over Zenit Saint-Petersburg 3-0 and is donated to the Europa League. The Russian club (4th) is eliminated from all European competitions.
