At Norrköping's museum, which sees itself as the morally rightful owner of the board since it was stolen from the museum in the late 1980s, one is glad that the sale is not lost.

The head of the Norrköping Art Museum Helena Persson tells SVT News East, among other things, "that it feels good that it has not gone on sale without provenance and without a prospective buyer buying a work that has actually been stolen from an art museum".

The theft of Carl Larsson's painting is prescribed and Helena Persson at the Norrköping Art Museum does not doubt that the current owner bought the painting in good faith.
