The process of selling homes in the West Bank settlements, which Netanyahu is promoting, is taking place in a synagogue in Canada, and an American Jew - named Rich Segal - exposed the Israeli real estate activity, calling for confronting the sale process because it violates local and international law.

“An Israeli real estate sale event is scheduled to be held at the Keter Torah Synagogue, where settlement homes in the West Bank will be offered for sale,” Segal said.

He added, "Jews should not leap above the law and commit fraud in places of worship." He also said, "As Jews, we cannot fly under the radar, break the law, and hide it in the synagogue."

He stressed that the event violates local and international law, describing the West Bank settlements as illegal under international law.

For his part, Rabbi David Mevasser - an activist in the Independent Jewish Voices of Canada organization - objected to the sale of real estate stolen from Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, and held the government of Canada responsible for allowing the trade in stolen goods.

In front of a synagogue in Canada, Mevasser said, “They are selling properties built on lands stolen from Palestinians. It is unreasonable for Canada to allow this,” describing the sale process as illegal.
