Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas, N.6, easily defeated Germany's defending champion Alexander Zverev (N. 7) in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 on Wednesday at the Masters in London.
With the win, 22-year-old Tsitsipas made the semi-finals for his first appearance, joining Dominic Thiem (N.5), already qualified.
The qualification of Zverev, 21, will depend on the result of his match against Daniil Medvedev and that of the meeting between Tsitsipas and Rafael Nadal on Friday.
