The alarm about the incident came to the police at 22.33 on Tuesday evening.

- A woman called us and told us that she had been out jogging in the area around Råstasjön in Solna. A man had then come up behind her and tried to pull her into an adjacent bush cage, says Mikael Pettersson at the police.

She must have managed to tear herself away, and when a passerby came to the scene, the perpetrator should have moved running away from there.

No gripes

Police cite the incident as attempted rape.

- There is currently no apprehension. We have searched the area with dog patrol and police cars but unfortunately found nothing. Now, there is a questioning of landowners and possibly other people who have moved in the area who may have seen or noticed something, says Pettersson.

The woman, who is in her 40s, should not have suffered any physical injuries according to police.
