Five years ago, what Carlos Gomes from Stockholm called the nightmare began. That's when he discovered that he was the only board member of an IT company in Lund. Since then, another seven companies have been added - everything from import companies to property management companies.

The companies have several things in common - they all have large accounts payable, and can all be linked to the 53-year-old Blekinge company, which SVT has previously reported on.

SVT has previously been able to show how the 53-year-old in his companies uses fake identities or ID-hijacked people to seemingly try to hide their tracks. But why Carlos Gomes just became one of those affected he does not know.

- I haven't received any money to write anything, it's just to check my bank account. I don't know why I ended up here, says Carlos Gomes.

Counterfeit signatures

At home in the apartment, the government post and the demand letters are towering, and when three of the companies recently went bankrupt, he was called to numerous district court hearings. He has not been able to open many of the letters.

- I did it in the beginning, but now I can't do it anymore. I'm innocent of all this.

Several of the companies where Carlos Gomes sits on the board have large debts - debts that could be written off to Carlos Gomes personally after the bankruptcies. During the bankruptcy negotiations, he has been presented with writing tests, to try to show that his signature in the corporate paper is forged.

SVT has taken note of several documents that substantiate his claim. Among other things, the handwriting used to sign in Carlos's name is identical to the one used to sign in the name of others in other companies. Several of the documents sent to the authorities are also similar in writing, typeface and formulation.

Police reports are closed

On several occasions, Carlos Gomes has reported the police hijackings to the police, but he feels that he does not receive any hearing.

- After two days, I am told that they closed the investigation. This has been the case every time I report to the police, probably 10-20 times, he says.

What are the consequences for you?

- I'm stressed and worried, and it's difficult to start my own business because I have these debt companies. I am afraid that the police will come into the apartment and arrest me for something that I am completely innocent of. I just want to be able to live my own life again.

SVT News Blekinge has unsuccessfully sought the 53-year-old Blekinge entrepreneur. He has said in a previous confrontation that he was threatened, or had been paid, for committing the suspected fraud.
