“We want to return everything to normal, at least with regard to the working conditions of our diplomats in the USA and American diplomats in Russia. But not everything depends on us. But we will look for incentive measures, ”he said at a press conference following his participation in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.

Earlier, Lavrov met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. During the talks, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out to the American colleague the unacceptability of the US actions to refuse Russian representatives visas for multilateral events within the UN.

After the meeting, Pompeo announced on Twitter the need for a constructive dialogue with Russia.
