Katara International Exhibition for Hunting and Falcons (Suhail) concluded in Doha, after attracting a number of participants and became a global forum for those interested in hunting and falcons, celebrating the burqa as aesthetic masterpiece for standing falcons.

140 companies representing 20 countries from all over the world participated in the third edition of Katara Hunting and Falcons Exhibition `` Suhail 2019 '', which focused on the vocabulary of Qatari heritage and pride of cultural identity, and provided a market for fishing tools and supplies in the wildlife for grandparents.

In this regard, the Director of the exhibition, Abdul Aziz Al-Bohashim Al-Sayed said that despite the keenness of the exhibition in each session to develop and modernize, this exhibition does not lose its inherent heritage character, as "Suhail" is part of the cultural heritage of the people of Qatar, and coincides with the entry of the hunting season, To meet the needs and requirements of falconers and fishing enthusiasts.

He explained that the exhibition contains a range of beautiful heritage features of hunting supplies and conventional weapons, and most of the requirements of the falcon depends on the craft and handicraft, in addition to an art exhibition in which artists compete in drawing falcon and Almqnas environment.

Because the burqa is not just a cover on the head of the falcon, but an aesthetic feature of the bird who is not flying or chasing its prey, Suhail exhibition celebrated for the second time in a row by organizing the competition "Ajmal Burqa", in addition to the daily auction of "Falcon Mazayen".

The organizing committee member Malika Al-Shuraim confirmed that the aim of this competition is to encourage craftsmen and companies to compete in creating the finest and most beautiful burqas, as crowns that embellish the heads of falcons are lying above their dens. .

The first three burqas, which were subjected to the exhibition's vote, will be produced through glass boxes prepared for this purpose, and then presented to a specialized jury, which arranges the three centers of these burqaas, as a masterpiece worthy of the award of $ 6,000.
