05 September 201923.00 The premier of Sudan Hamdok has unveiled the new government, the first since al-Bashir was deposed, an important step for the country and its transition to a civilian government. The announcement was postponed for days by Hamdok, engaged in the evaluation of the nominations, proposed by the 'Forces for Freedom and Change' movement which promoted the protests that led to Bashir leaving the scene. The government consists of 18 members, including four women, including Foreign Minister Asma Mohamed Abdalla.
