“A group of radical protesters gathered near Tsim Sha Tsui police station, setting fires in its vicinity. The protesters also damaged several cars at the station and threw bricks and other hard objects into the building, putting the public at risk, ”police said.

They noted that the police "used tear gas in close proximity to disperse the protesters."

Earlier, 36 protesters in Hong Kong were injured after an attack by a group of people in white T-shirts at Yuen Long station.

Large-scale protests in Hong Kong began in June due to the consideration of amendments to the law on extradition, which, if approved, will allow Hong Kong to extradite suspects to jurisdictions with which it does not have an extradition agreement, including Taiwan, Macao and mainland China.
