Hong Kong used tear gas to disperse protesters

A student at a Hong Kong university, Keith Fong, was detained by police on suspicion of possession of weapons.

“More than a hundred people gathered outside the local police building demanding the release of Fong,” the report said.

It is noted that to disperse the police used tear gas.

Law enforcement officials previously accused Hong Kong protesters of assaulting police stations.
