I thought the Mahdi

The Associated Science magazine (MBBI) published the findings of an archaeological excavation that was discovered to be the oldest church in Russia buried under the Narin Kala Fortress in Derbend, Dagestan Republic of the Russian Federation, a World Heritage Site of UNESCO.

Nuclear physics techniques in prospecting
In view of the archaeological sensitivity of the studied site, researchers used radiation technology known as "Mayon" to detect the function of the structure buried there.

The study by the National University of Science and Technology in Russia has proved the usefulness of using nuclear emulsifiers to detect radiation that occurs when it collides with a surface or penetrates the surface, depending on the density of the materials made.

The technology uses advanced capabilities in analyzing data from radiological monitoring devices, so that it can eventually form a three-dimensional structure of the internal structure of the body to be examined.

Moons are defined as those subatomic and invisible particles generated by the interaction of cosmic rays with the Earth's atmosphere.

The Mayon radiography technique was used for the first time in 2016 by an international research team to scan the internal structure of the curved Sennfro pyramid in Egypt, built about 4,600 years ago.

After analyzing the nuclear data, the scientists concluded that the site may be the oldest church in Russia dating from 300 AD.

The researchers removed detectors to the depths of the structure, as they were unable to use traditional methods of prospecting, given the sensitivity of the site, which shows part of a destroyed dome on the surface of the earth, wiping its interior dimensions before prospecting.

The results show that the vaulted structure takes the shape of a cross, 11 meters high, 15 meters from north to south, 13.4 meters from east to west. The width of the arms of the cross is about 5 meters and the length of the northern crusade is 6 meters, The remaining three arms are about 4.2 meters long.

The arches were covered with basements, and the survey data revealed a frame of a 5-meter dome above the central part of the cross.

The study revealed an unusual accumulation of monons in the western wing of the cross, which is likely due to the existence of certain preserved architectural features, which require further detailed survey to see what it is.

The oldest church in Russia
Historians had previously predicted that this structure was a water reservoir in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. However, the results of the modern study refute this hypothesis, highlighting several differences between this structure under study and another water reservoir located in the same archaeological site.

Scientists believe that this structure was entirely built above the surface of the earth at the highest site in Narin Kala. The Sassanid Persian Empire that took control of Durban in 700 probably implicated the building, which is probably the oldest church in Russia.

The researchers plan to conduct more surveys to produce a full-size image of what was buried underground in the Narin Kala castle, so it will not take long to see what is built in this old structure.
