The commander of the main operations room of the Hafar forces in the city of Gharyan (south of the Libyan capital of Tripoli) Colonel Ali Mohammed al-Sheikhi revealed that a number of French and Emirati soldiers participated in the management of the military operations on Tripoli from inside the operating room in the city.

Al-Sheikhi said during his interrogation by the Ghalian Protection Force of the Wefaq government that the soldiers (who were not assigned) were responsible for managing logistics, reconnaissance reconnaissance and technical support.

Al-Shiekhi also expected the group to withdraw to the military base of al-Jafra after the al-Wefaq government regained control of Gharyan.

Troops loyal to the internationally backed government of the Libyan Accord have dealt a heavy blow to Hafar's forces after suddenly taking control of Gharyan, the main backbone of Haftar in the battles south of the capital.

Al-Wefaq forces launched a lightning operation on Wednesday, during which they took control of the mountainous town 100 km southwest of the capital, which is a major operation center for Haftar and a supply line for its forces.

Libyan sources in the field reported that the forces of the Government of National Reconciliation managed to capture dozens of Hafar forces, including dozens of Sudanese and Chadian mercenaries in the city of Greyan after the control.

Pictures of the activists on the websites showed a number of detainees described as "mercenaries" of the Chadian and Sudanese nationalities wearing military uniforms and fighting in the ranks of Haftar forces.
