A double attack on the police on Thursday killed at least one person and injured eight people in Tunis. Islamic State has claimed.

The Islamic State (IS) jihadist group has claimed responsibility for the double suicide bombing in Tunis that killed one policeman and injured eight people on Thursday, the US extremist movement watchdog SITE reported.

The authors of the "two attacks against Tunisian security forces in the capital are fighters of (group) Islamic State," said the propaganda agency of EI Amaq, quoted by SITE.
