The Sharjah Misdemeanor Court has accused a woman of Asian nationality of insulting others with insulting words to her honor. The victim was sent messages of shame through the social networking program Instagram.

The details of the incident, according to the case papers, were dated October 29 last year, when the complainant received a series of text messages from the accused through the "Ingram" program, which included a series of words and blasphemous words, as well as slander and slander. After the victim confirmed that the account from which the letters had been received was the culprit, she went to the police and reported the incident.

The court heard the defendant, who confirmed that she had prior knowledge of the complainant, but did not write or talk to her through the Ingram program, pointing out that she did not have an account for this program.

She added that the name of the account, from which the letters were sent to the complainant, is artificially made by her husband and her sister by her husband, while she is outside the state, indicating that there are family problems between her and him, likely to be the sender.

The defendant requested a court time to provide proof that the account was not hers and that she did not send any letter from him to the complainant, and the court postponed the case to July 14.
