Iran has said it has shot down its reconnaissance aircraft to the US military. The tensions in the Middle East surrounding the United States and Iran are further heightening because the area where the UAV has been shot is near the Strait of Hormuz, where the oil tanker strike occurred a while ago.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards said they shot down the U.S. military reconnaissance squadron in the Iranian airspace near the Strait of Hormuz to the air defense system.

The UAV claimed to have gathered information about Iran by shutting down all communications and identification devices and approaching them secretly.

Iran's foreign ministry also warned that US provocative torts would cost.

However, the US military insisted that "the place where the UAV was shot down was attacked without provocation" as the international airspace.

US President Trump said Iran made a big mistake.

However, it was not intentional, but rather weighed about immediate military action.

It is believed that the tension between the two countries will be heightened because the US and Iran are in close proximity to the Strait of Hormuz, where the tanker is shot down.
