Trump believed that Israel made a very big mistake by publishing pictures of the bombing and bombs falling on Gaza (Israel Today)

Former US President Donald Trump warned that Israel was losing a lot of international support because of its war in Gaza, and called on it to end it and move forward with the peace process.

Trump said in an interview with the Israeli newspaper (Israel Today) published on Monday, “You have to accomplish the war. You must end it. You must end it.” He stressed that he would have responded in the same way as Israel to the Hamas attack on October 7, and stressed that he felt upset. When he sees people, they no longer talk about this attack, which he described as horrific, but rather about the war in which Israeli strikes turned most of the Gaza Strip into rubble.

The former US President also delivered what appeared to be a criticism of Israeli propaganda efforts, and said that Israel made a very big mistake by publishing pictures of bombings and bombs falling on buildings in Gaza. “Every night, I watched the buildings raining down on people. And I said, ‘This is a terrible picture.’” “It is a very bad image for the world.” “I think Israel wanted to show that it is difficult, but sometimes it shouldn’t be.”

Trump's statements, the Republican candidate to compete with President Joe Biden in the US presidential elections scheduled for next November, came on the day that Washington abstained from voting in the UN Security Council on a resolution that called for an "immediate" ceasefire in Gaza.

Trump often describes himself as a loyal ally of Israel, recalling his decision to move the US embassy to occupied Jerusalem and the role of his administration in the negotiations for normalization agreements in 2020 between Israel and Arab countries such as the UAE and Bahrain.
