Germany called on Ukraine to investigate the death of journalist Komarov

“I am very concerned about the death of Ukrainian journalist Vadim Komarov,” said Kofler.

She called on the new Ukrainian leadership to "take violence and repression against journalists and activists seriously."

“I expect the Ukrainian security agencies to thoroughly investigate this incident, as well as other attacks on civil society,” she said.

Journalist Vadim Komarov, who was beaten by unknown people in Cherkassy in early May, died without leaving a coma.
