Robocop is in Huntington Park, 10km southeast of downtown Los Angeles, California.

Huntington Park City Council approved the agenda for appointing 'HR Robocop' as a new member of the City Police Patrol on 18th.

The robot, with a cone-shaped insignia and a polis on the front, was approved for patrol by a test run of 5 km last month.

It is equipped with a high resolution camera that rotates 360 degrees and is responsible for patrolling a blind spot in the city where human police have not been able to spot it.

HR Robocop is linked with a system that transmits patrol video in real time and enables police officers to be dispatched when abnormal signs are detected.

It could also send warning broadcasts on its own microphone, the city explained.

HR Robocop has its own Twitter account and also participates in social media activities.

Huntington Park police officially welcomed the new device to be responsible for public safety and said the police had another eye.
