Thursday will still be very cloudy and wet in the North, while the South will enjoy a great improvement, according to Météo-France forecasts released Wednesday.
On a large north-west quarter, the coasts of the Channel and the Benelux in Poitou and Massif Central, the day will begin under a cloudy sky, accompanied by light rain or drizzle. This gloomy weather will extend before noon to Alsace and Jura.
The afternoon will continue under a very cloudy sky near the Channel, loaded with some rains on the Great East and Burgundy Franche-Comté. On the rest of the northern half, the sun will make a few more appearances. Limousin and Poitou-Charentes will benefit from wider thinnings.

Up to 28 degrees on Languedoc and Provence

In the south of the country, it will be the return of good weather. The sun will shine generously and temperatures will begin to rise. Only the Corsican mountain will take charge in cumulus, with a risk of ripple in the middle of the afternoon. Mistral and tramontane will blow more moderately, between 50 km / h and locally 70 km / h gusts.

The minimum temperatures will be between 7 and 13 degrees in general, between 12 and 15 degrees near the Mediterranean. The maximum temperatures will be 18 to 23 degrees in the northern half and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, 22 to 26 in the south-west and the Mediterranean regions, locally 27/28 in the Languedoc and Provence.
