Two Palestinians, one in the Gaza Strip and the other in Ramallah in the West Bank, were killed yesterday by the Israeli army.

In the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was killed and dozens were wounded by gunfire and suffocation in clashes with the Israeli army in the eastern Gaza Strip.

A 25-year-old man was killed by a live bullet in the chest during clashes with the Israeli army east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, medics said. The medics said that about 30 other demonstrators were shot, including an 18-year-old man, who was described as very critical, and dozens of rubber bullets and suffocation on the outskirts of the eastern Gaza Strip.

The highest authority for the return marches in Gaza called for the widest popular participation in the protests yesterday, under the slogan: «The crime of siege a conspiracy will not pass».
