As reported by the TV channel "112 Ukraine", "for" voted 245 people's deputies.

"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine nominates Oleg Sentsov for the Nobel Peace Prize," the parliament said in a statement.

Sentsov was sentenced in Russia to 20 years in prison on charges of organizing terrorist attacks in the Crimea. In May 2018, he went on a hunger strike.

On September 3, Tatyana Moskalkova, the human rights ombudsman in Russia, reported that there is no threat to Sentsov's life-he does not eat, but receives nutritious mixtures.
