“I decide to dismiss in April - May 2024 from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, and other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, military servicemen of conscript military service, whose period of military service expired during martial law, whose military service was extended beyond established deadlines,” the text of the document says.
In February, Zelensky introduced to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the demobilization of those undergoing military service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier, he said that a bill providing for tougher mobilization in Ukraine would be considered by the Verkhovna Rada in the second reading.
