The head of the National Committee for the reconstruction of Gaza, Ambassador Mohammed Al-Emadi, announced the allocation of funds for humanitarian projects in the Gaza Strip, in coordination and cooperation with the United Nations, after the rejection of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) yesterday to receive the third batch, in response to the behavior of the Israeli occupation.

Al-Emadi said in a press conference today in Gaza that the first agreements will be signed with the United Nations next Monday for 20 million dollars for the temporary program.

Al-Emadi accused parties - not named - of exploiting humanitarian aid to Gaza for electoral propaganda, and collect political positions. He pointed out that the main objective of the grant, which was guided by the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is to provide urgent humanitarian assistance and improve the living conditions of the population of the sector.

Hamas refused
Hamas announced yesterday its refusal to receive the third batch of the Qatari grant in response to the conduct of the occupation and not abide by the understandings of calm sponsored by the United Nations, Egypt and Qatar.

A member of the Political Bureau of Hamas Khalil al-Hayya told a press conference in the Gaza Strip responsibility for the retreat and slow implementation of the understandings of calm, stressing at the same time that Gaza "will not be subject to political blackmail for the Israeli elections."

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to stop the transfer of funds of the third installment of the grant to Gaza, which was scheduled to be transferred on Wednesday, following the tension on the border with the sector, and then returned to Tel Aviv and agreed to enter the Qatari grant after the meeting of the Israeli cabinet Security and political Wednesday evening.

In October, Qatar decided to allocate $ 150 million in humanitarian aid to Gaza to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
