“Thanks to the Ukrainians, who sorted out everything, separated the wheat from the chaff. Thank you for the fact that, judging by the exit polls, provided an opportunity to continue the fight for Ukraine in the second round, at a time when Moscow was hoping for its victory today, ”Poroshenko said.
He also thanked voters who “strongly supported the course of Ukraine to join the EU and NATO,” and also spoke in favor of “independence from Russia.”
Previously published results of exit polls showed that Zelensky gets 30.4% of the vote, Petro Poroshenko - 17.8%, Yulia Tymoshenko - 14.2%.
