According to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the IL-20 was shot down in Syria by air defense of the country due to the fact that the Air Force pilots were covered by a Russian airplane.
The Israeli army was told that Damascus, Iran and Hezbollah are responsible for the crash of the IL-20.
